For a Second Century of Ministry

As children of God, we promise
to accept the awesome responsibility of living a faith-filled life that is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the teaching of scripture.

As a community of seekers, we promise
to turn to God privately in thoughtful prayer and publicly in regular worship that celebrates God's loving presence with us - in the past, in the present and in the future.

As a band of disciples, we promise
to spread the good news of God's love through personal example, education, outreach and social justice.

As members of the body of Christ, we promise
to trust in the presence of God and in the power of community through all the seasons of our lives.

As people on a journey, we promise
to create a hospitable community with an invitation for all to join with us in seeking the hope, the love, the peace and the joy that comes from God.
